Preface: I'm ALWAYS skeptical of reviews. I don't care how many positive reviews a product has because you never know who has been paid to write a good review and who hasn't. That being said, the company did NOT pay me to leave a positive review. This review is positive because this product made an AMAZING impression on me. What's in the box? Suction cup mount, air vent mount, collet nut, Type-C charging cable, manual, customer appreciation card, and contact information for warranty inquiries or customer service. BENEFITS: ¤ Works with Galaxy S10+ in Otterbox Defender case (with extended bottom extension on stand.) ¤ Wide enough, to hold my S10+ when it's in the Otter (barely, but it's 3.5 inches). on the suction cup.¤ The suction cup is grooved to lock it in place every 5 degrees and can be rotated back and forth 180 degrees for FULL control of how you want to mount it ANYWHERE (I mounted it on my computer case ). right now)¤ The ball head drive lets the phone rotate in any desired direction and locks in place very well. It's a bit larger in diameter than my old Scosche magnetic mount, which hasn't broken after 2 years of riding for UBER, so it shouldn't have an issue with longevity!¤ The suction cup on the mount is about 1cm wider and deeper as my Scosche magnetic mount. which has served me well in my car for two years now and has only fallen off twice (once through my fault) so should hold up pretty well! Of course, the more porous the surface you are mounting back onto, the more problems you will have. My Fusion has a fairly flat plastic panel on the dash that allows me to mount it closer to the center of the windshield without mounting it ON the windshield.¤ This is the vent clip. To be honest I think a vent clip would be more secure than a suction cup mount! There's an obvious "push clip" that every vent clip has that usually fails or blows your phone off; but this one has a clip UNDER the clamp clip that you can snap into place, This keeps it on the vent UNDER where you place the phone (or above depending on how you orient it) giving you TWICE more confidence that your phone won't fly out when you switch and crash! Seriously, I'm IMPRESSED with this vent clip (how many times have you seen someone say that?) CONS: Honestly, there are only three cons that can come to mind, and they are: 1. It would be nice to have extras in the box Adjust jam nuts in case one of them breaks, but being a one piece piece I can tell you it SHOULD NOT break unless you torque it INSANELY. . The included USB Type-C cable is GOOD!, as is the fact that it's USB Type-C and not microUSB, which is quicker to fail. but it is only 3 feet long and really doesn't leave any installation space.3. The extension that you unclip on the suction cup mount, adding about 3 inches to the length, slides out the inside of the arm it's in. The rail seems smooth enough and not difficult to pull out, but my S10+ and my Otterbox Defender seem VERY close to the weight limit for this when fully extended. At normal length it is STABLE (with a little fluctuation of course, but nothing special). For heavier cell phones, I would leave the usual length at 6 inches instead of the possible 9 inches. Other thoughts: For the price, with the features, functionality and design quality included - I really don't think this would be a 'bad buy' in ANY sense. You get a vent clip, dashboard mount, window mount, every possible adjustment, stability, security, wireless charging with TYPE-C! (always a win) and a cable (albeit a short one). You will be hard pressed to find anything that gives you all of this for $40 and I know I have spent over $250 on various car chargers from over ten different online stores and major retailers! Zeehoo kicked the ball out of the park with this one! ** UPDATE JULY 15, 2019 Suction cup mount for desktop. I had it in my car but after the extension cord thumbscrew stopped vibrating I decided to use it at home. It still works great, although the phone sometimes has to be moved to allow for fast charging. 100% sure this is due to the massive build and bulk of my Otterbox Defender and NOT the charger as it works fine on my S7 Edge compared to my S10+. I had it in my car but after the extension cord thumbscrew stopped vibrating I decided to use it at home. It still works great, although the phone sometimes has to be moved to allow for fast charging.
