Best Camera Lenses

You can't go wrong with Zeiss. The design and construction are amazing. I love the weight and the feel, but most of all the quality of the glass.

CINEMATIC or PHOTOGRAPHIC SIZE in 1 LENS!

Just blown away by the cinematic images on my Canon m50. Turns it into a crisp 40mm image. On my 5D4 or my Eos R 4k, nothing is short of impressive. I have a Canon 24mm 1.4 ii but this Zeiss 25mm ZE leads the way for its cinematic rendering. Some of the greats have shot entire films in 28mm and 25mm and having used this lens I agree it is very doable. Render, wow, render. It's also a secret weapon for photography. Great for editorial tall leggy models and even landscapes and astronomy. Just buy

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • So far so good

Best lens in my kit

Although the 25mm lens might seem like an unnecessary little brother to the next 28mm and 18mm lenses, I highly recommend it. This lens has the same solid feel and quality glass you've come to expect from Zeiss. I actually think it's the perfect compromise. Its width is sufficient for most applications. If you want something wider, you'll probably be looking at a 10-15mm lens anyway. And if you want a 28mm view, just move the camera closer to the subject. I know how ridiculous this sounds, but…
