Slips and scratches easily all the time

This tie rod was easy to assemble as were all tie rods I have had in the past. However, the ends of this rod have no support and it kept sliding down my walls due to the frequent movement of the shower curtain. I had to cut out two round pieces of non-slip padding to use as "hooks" between the pole and the wall. Problem solved! Also, after a week of use, I noticed yellow scuffs on the bar. I prefer to say spend a few bucks more and buy a better product. Luckily for me this was temporary use and

What a terrible invention!

These aren't the tow bars we all grew up with. This is a twist to tighten with an internal plastic nut. It has no spring inside. So you need to set up the pole with the curtain already on it and then have the strength of your hand to rotate the pole (keep it firmly in place with the weight of what you are handing over). The dumbest idea ever! I want old feathers. Just tighten it to the desired length. Then download the curtain. Then slide it in place. 1,2,3 - easy. Not with this piece of junk…

Don't want to go to bed, period.

Edit: The inner rubber stock screw didn't last more than a few months. It's torn in the middle. Don't buy it, it's junk. ---- The clamping mechanism is unlocked with the slightest push inwards. which means it's REALLY hard to tighten enough to want to stick. I had to use 3M strips as another person suggested and I would never want to use them to support curtains anyway, they won't hold anything! I use it to train grape plants, but it's good enough for that. Not very versatile due to weak…

This is the pole you don't need to look for anymore!

I read many reviews about these things before I bought them. I swear I looked at the details in the mail more than I bought the car. In the reviews of some poles I only saw "it falls off" or "uhhh, that's so much money and doesn't work". Well, I'll tell you right now, you can stop looking and stop being afraid. This rod works correctly and holds $^&(#@) on it. It's a little hard to put on at the beginning, you have to push, push, etc., but once you have it, it will be good! I would not. try to…

60 " is a range: shower curtains, hooks and inserts

This is supposed to work at 60", this is a range, no pun intended. We had to add a support hook in the middle to keep it from sagging. I'm using it for a sheer curtain so it's not a weight issue causing it to sag. In addition, the diameter of the pole is too large for the curtain pocket. I have no problem getting it to work for my use (a sheer curtain to cover a bookshelf in a closet with no doors in a bedroom or study). I hung the curtains with one edge upside down and opened a large hook to…

It was supposed to be an easy purchase, didn't expect all these problems

I can't take it. It looked good at first but lasted (with difficulty) a day and fell off once my cat started playing around the curtains with her toys. I'm sure the cat stepped on the curtain and maybe pulled it down a bit, but she does this all the time with other push rods I've used in the past. Super low rating because my second attempt at installing the rod resulted in the product stopping working. After adjusting the length, I started rotating the rod to fix its length, but the length…
