Like many other reviewers I bought the deluxe and they sent me the standard. Revane took care of us but it sucks. MFG's barcode says "lux" so they clearly have trouble organizing their inventory. I would like additional details, especially the ratchet guard. Appears to be well built and we have chosen not to return it. Set up was easy and I believe it will provide us with years of camping fun.

I've been slacklining for a long time. I used to use 1" nylon tubing and a couple of carabiners to make a primitive setup, but it took a group of people to pull hard to get the webbing tight enough. Nowadays it's difficult to find a group of people because we are even older. I bought this set so that I could easily assemble it myself. It works very well and only takes a few minutes and a few ratchet clicks. It comes with a nice compact carry case as well as a tree shelter. I highly recommend it

I liked the standalone set with green tree protectors (I've only ever used towels) and bag. This is a great little setup for beginners or kids. The ratchet was easy to use and had a nice plastic handle that made it easy to pull the cord with your hands. I found the line itself too flexible for my liking. When I first opened the box I was quite impressed with the quality of the sling and ratchet. I can say that both are made of quality materials. The slackline was exactly as described and was very easy to set up. The safety lock on the ratchet was a nice feature that gave me extra security. Great set for slacklining. The ratchet on this thing is top quality. I turned my Zero Gravity ratchet to tighten the line and it's a solid, reliable mechanism with a solid hook. When I turned my gibbon with the same force, the ratchet turned one way or the other before locking into place. And I've had occasions where Gibbon has let loose. As soon as my hands touched the slackline I knew I was going to like it. It feels very smooth and soft, not hard and rough like tying belts. It feels thick and durable. It's flexible, but at the same time it's not at all tedious to thread the ratchet. I love how it feels under my feet like I'm wearing Darn Tough and SmartWool socks. However, it is firm enough to avoid bouncing up and down, which can cause you to lose your balance. The color looks COOL and blends well with the natural landscape.
