    Not the best sound quality but good enough to tinker with

    Not the best sound quality but does the job. I cut the wires to the play button and connect them to the NO output of the output switch, plugging it into a junction box on the floor by my front door as my dog uses it to let me know when he needs to go to the potty . a nice upgrade from the "hotel" bell she used before. 🛎

    Works great, light goes on and off.

    At first I thought it was wrong because I was trying to close and open the sensor. But it turns out he's just really sensitive to sudden changes in light. This worked for me. Because I used it in a drawer. Open the box and it plays. Close the drawer and it stops. Open the box and everything starts over. Perfect for my stupid purpose.

    Very easy to use, works out of the box. We need an almost black transition of darkness.

    It was very easy to set up and use. Sound quality is to be expected for such a small, flat speaker. I reduced the high frequencies when recording sound from a computer so the sound was more natural and less harsh. It seems that only the transition from almost black darkness to light is detected, which was good for my application. Even covering it with my hand was iffy, I had to lock it in a box so it would activate when exposed to light.

    Works as intended! in Portable Audio & Video

    After three failed ArtSkills poster recorders, I was pleasantly surprised that this recorder actually works as intended. Not exactly high-quality sound, but it worked perfectly for a school project. Please note that there are no instructions for this. There's a button with a red dot - this one is for play, which means the other one is for record. Press and hold the record button. Start the sound you want to record after the beep and release the button when done. At this point, a double beep…
