This REALLY WORKS. While playing Genshin Impact, my laptop's temperature was 80 degrees. After using this cooler, my laptop warmed up to 59 degrees. It's not very noisy and the fans blow out pretty cool air.

The seal has different levels of cooling and the fan noise is not very loud. I use it when playing action games and it works very well. When I bought it, I didn't expect that the mat can be put on a laptop stand and perfectly protect the laptop from sliding. Now I have a cooling pad right between the stand and the laptop. I have a Dell XPS 15 9500 that I bought on Black Friday 2020. There were problems with too loud fans when playing games or video editing. I bought it hoping to solve this problem. And YES, it definitely helps with the built-in fans by providing extra airflow. But I suspect a design flaw in the XPS 15 is causing the left side of the laptop to get hot while charging. So. Does this laptop cooler work? YUP! I only make simple games and simple video editing for church. It definitely helps!

I ordered two. None match the image of where the knob is to the left of the fan speed controls. Instead, there is a pin-sized hole at the top with a QC sticker. This is shown in some marketing materials but not other images showing a button, presumably an LED button or controller? There is no button to turn off the LEDs, that's why I ordered it.
