Works well on my MSI GT70-0NC

I replaced the original SanDisk 64GB mSata Raid 0 SSD on my MSI-GT70-0NC with 2 Zheino M3 256GB and everything worked fine. I had to format 2 drives and then set them up as RAID 0, creating a striped volume of 476GB. I then restored my Windows system image backup and used Disk Management to extend the volume to use the full capacity. The original disk had a 549MB system reserved partition at the beginning of the disk and Volume C immediately after it. Now my system is set to the latest Windows…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

File system error after one month

I installed this msata ssd (256GB version) on a mini pc (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KM7YY4Y) which I use as routers. At first everything was fine. Has been working without problems for several weeks. Then suddenly the system crashed due to file system errors. After a reboot and fsck everything was back to normal, but less than 18 hours later it stopped working again. I immediately ordered a WD RED NAS SSD to replace this terrible product. Save money and buy something more appropriate.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Only available in white

Hasn't worked for two years!

I have one of these for the iPod Video (with iFlash SATA adapter) and I've had nothing but problems: Firstly it didn't work in Rockbox so I just have to use the stock iPod firmware. It's half my library! Then I left it at home during the trip and when I came back a year and a half later I found the SSD was just DEAD! I sit on my desk and do nothing on the iPod! I even plugged it into my laptop's mSATA slot to test it and the Linux kernel was VERY unhappy with it! If it doesn't even work…

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • No color required

Hasn't worked for two years!

I got one like this for the iPod Video (along with the iFlash SATA adapter) and there were only problems: at first it didn't work in Rockbox, so I just had to use the standard firmware from the iPod. If it doesn't

What is the difference between mSATA M3 and Q3 versions? In fact, the SSD controller is the same (SM2258XT), but the flash memory chips appear to be Intel in the Zheino Q3 and Sandisk in the Zheino M3. Of the two, the M3 reads slightly faster, but the Q3 writes slightly faster. However, both M3 and Q3 use a DRAM-free design, which means that the write speed under constant write load (e.g. restoring this SSD from a backup) is initially high, but after that it eventually drops to around 28 MB/s…

Pros
  • Data storage
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

In short, this is a solid mSata SSD. Comes with the appropriate screws for my use in a Dell laptop. A new installation of Windows 10 Home has been running for two months now without any problems. Lang: Most laptops these days make upgrading/expanding hard drives relatively easy. The difficulty is usually that you want to use it as a boot drive/OS drive, especially on older models. Specifically, I received this for a Dell Inspiron 17R - Model 5720 (Intel i5-3210M) laptop running Windows 10 Home.

Main Heat and Performance Issues - Zheino 256GB mSATA SSD

I recently decided to upgrade the mSATA drives in my three Samsung Series 9 Ultrabooks from circa 2011-2013. I saw this Zheino 256GB mSATA while looking for replacement mSATA drives. For less than $40 I decided to try this device on my 11.6 inch Core i3, 2011 Samsung Series 9 Ultrabook NP900X1A-A01US and compare the performance to more expensive branded devices running on my other 9 Series computers are to be found. Experience Zheino's drive Performance is equivalent to mSATA SSDs of similar…
