Flints ok. That's a good value. The only downside was that it came with that little plastic box. You should rotate a small plastic disc to release the flint one at a time. The little disc didn't move. My husband had to rip open the packaging to get to the flints and found a tin to keep the extra. Not critical, but that's why 4 stars and not 5.

When my Zippo lighter broke the flint, I started looking for replacement flints. I chose the Zippo brand and now have a lot more flints in case I break or wear out another one. If you've never turned a flint into a Zippo (like me) don't worry, it's very easy. When you take the lighter out of the Zippo case, there is a screw at the bottom. You unscrew (note the spring), remove and replace the flint. This is very easy and only takes a few minutes.

I paid $2.68 for 6 flints as an additional item. It's great at about 45 cents a flint. One flint lasts me about 4-6 months, so I have enough flint for 2 years at worst, 3 years at best. I know you have to pay for lighter fluid too. for zippo lighters but in my opinion they are still more cost effective than bic lighters and they are better for the environment. A 12-ounce can of e-liquid currently costs just under $9, and you can pick up a pack of Flintstones for $2.68. , and a new Zippo costs…
