With this product you can easily transfer content from your camera to your computer. It is easy to use and has good quality. It also takes up little space. This is perfect as I'm always running out of desk space. The transfer process is also much faster. I would recommend this to anyone who actively uses their SLR camera.

Works as advertised! I like to use cheaper SSDs instead of expensive cfast 2.0 cards. The only downside is the terrible attachment system. The mounting bracket does not fit any of the 1/4 20 holes on any of my cages for any of my cameras. The attached hardware wiggles and wobbles even when fully tightened. You will have to create your own fastening system, at least with the product I received.

I wanted to take the 4-5 2TB SSDs I have and use them as magnets for my Komodo. The thing works as advertised. No dropped frames even at maximum resolution (R3D HQ 40 fps, full resolution). Make sure your 2.5" SATA SSD can handle write speeds in excess of 300MB/s - many don't. Look for TLC, NOT QLC, and look for evidence of sustained write speeds in excess of 300MB/s. The two cheap SSDs I have work like magnets: Micron 1100 2.5-inch 2TB SSD - $200 Crucial MX500 2.5-inch 2TB SSD - $215.

This adapter works with my BMPCC4K but I'm still limited by the SSD I installed. I love that I can use it to close the door on my SSD port. The included 1/4-20 thread works very well. It stays on my camera cage with no problems. If you are not using a Blackmagic recommended disc you will still encounter the same problem as everyone else unless you plan to shoot RAW. In that case, just make sure the disc you are using is approved for your camera.

This is a great solution that can help you use inexpensive SSDs on cameras like the Black Magic Pocket 4k and 6k. I think it's great that there are mounting options. Now I can get another 1TB Sandisk for $99 that will record all formats on my 6k and will help keep my budget down while shooting my first feature film.
