Ok Frog Food Good For Food

I really can't say enough good things about this product. The frogs in my tank (I have two African frogs) don't seem crazy about it and to be honest I've never seen them eat. Sometimes I add other foods to make sure they stay healthy. My aquarium is only 20 liters. So I'm pretty confused. With that being said, I think I'll stick with bloodworms or other products.

Nice little granules - don't seem to foul the aquarium.

The pellet size is perfect for my African Dwarf Frogs. It seems like the frogs are taking a long time to figure out they're in the tank, so I'm not sure if they smell that strong (never had such problems with live blackworms). On the plus side, my shrimp can eat them too - they seem to love them! The pellets should be softened a little in some water before feeding and I recommend a feeding dish as they easily disappear in the gravel and are never found by the frogs.

A good alternative food for frogs.

I don't use them as a staple but more as a supplement when I'm lazy or when I'm running out of frozen mosquito larvae. These are small sinking granules specially made for ADF that you can smell in the water. They don't go crazy like worms, but it's nice to diversify their diet. Edit: I am updating my review after careful observation and study of the ingredients. My frogs usually find them because ingredient #1 is anchovy flour. They're also high in vitamins that mosquito larvae can't provide…

repeat buyers! Don't cloud the tank! frog loves it!

repeat buyers here! We have been using Zoo Med Aquatic Frog for 18 months now. In fact, our first container lasted so long! It was recommended to us by a pet store and for convenience we bought it again here at Revain. Our African Dwarf Frog is healthy and lives in his aquarium with other large fish. You should only use 6 granules per day and that is enough. Our aquarium does not become cloudy with correct feeding. We have clean water and our frog lives a happy and healthy life. If you find a…

Do not buy for ADF!

Adult African dwarf frogs and tadpoles know very little about these granules. ADPs have poor eyesight and find food by smell. They will sink immediately if left lying, which is normal as they feed on the bottom, but they quickly disappear into the substrate and the frogs cannot find them. In my nursery without substrate, this was still a problem, since young tadpoles are filter feeders from the start and need live food as they grow. Picture of my baby tank where the pellets just sit on the…
