It was just great! It's not as long as it might appear on Revain. For example, a towel will not easily fit in if folded in half. I think you could triple fold the towel if you want it to fit on it. But it held the washcloth well as seen in the picture. Be sure to pay attention to the measurements and decide if you need this size. The finish goes well with my bathroom. It was easy to install, just peel and stick. In general, I liked everything and I am satisfied with the result.

The reason I'm giving this three stars is because without the towel rail I wouldn't have known there was a leak in the wall in our guest bathroom. They are not suitable for damp areas (e.g. bathrooms), the adhesive will get wet and peel off. Be aware that the paint may come off when you remove it from the wall. The paint will stick to the glue and cause more damage than if you just drilled through the wall. Maybe it works in a different part of the house and away from the wet area (bathroom).

Why are you told this thing isn't for painted walls? This is because the 3M adhesive on the back is not meant to be removed. If you try to remove it you will destroy your wall. I installed mine on a painted wall using the command bars. I did NOT remove the strip on the back to reveal the 3M adhesive. The towel warmer holds up well. I know they list sizes but gosh it should hold a towel. What happens if you fold your towel three times instead of in half?
