Slips easily over boots. Cozy.

I live on a hill. I've broken my arm twice sliding down a hill on ice. They seemed like a great idea when I have to get out on ice and snow. I tested them on several pairs of winter boots. They are easy to use. They are close to the body. However, I hope it will be years before I have to test them on the ice. I hope that now that I have them it will be some time before the ice storms hit us again. It seems like a good idea to keep them for winter emergencies.

Survived winter in Iceland

They were strong, compact and most importantly efficient! They were quick to put on and take off, although if you're as inflexible as I am, I needed some help putting on the right one. The strap goes through the right side of the shoe so it was easy for me to reach the left side and do it myself. My wife had no problems on either side. I could do it myself with a little effort. Grip with them was excellent on the roads of Iceland. You can hear them crunching and clinging to solid ice on the icy
