They often lose the vacuum after a day or so. The Gemini system as a whole is great. I love glass containers. However, these stoppers do not work. Although the vacuum pump works for the container, it doesn't seem to provide enough vacuum for these corks and the design of the cork is imperfect as it doesn't fit the top of the bottle very well. It should be conical, but it's absolutely flat. Combs alone are not enough to hold a vacuum. Wetting the cork helps, but they cannot be trusted.

Very easy to use and reuse (turn inside out, wash and dry). The valves work well and the sizes are large. The opening of the medium sized bag is too small for the bread baked in my machine. Once inside, no problem! (I solved this problem by pre-slicing the bread)

Not sure if it's because I'm storing something with sharp corners in it, but I've had no luck with about 30% of the containers I've had. bought that must be leaking or will not seal properly. I work with zippers a lot, but they still absorb air. I still love her but I just wish I had more time for her.

I bought this to keep veggies fresh in the fridge but the bags just won't seal. I followed the instructions to press the tab with the zip gusset and it will look great when I put the bag in the fridge but later in the day it opens. Great idea, I want to love this but a regular zip will hold up better than this one. Really disappointed, especially with the Zwilling brand.
