Original Anchor Bracket

Despite all the reviews saying otherwise, I think this is a genuine Anchor part. It's hydraulic, you can shake it and hear the liquid inside. Removed ALL vibrations on my 2007 Focus. Not the easiest thing to install, next time I'll probably buy the one with the bracket, but you can do it with a big flat head and a hammer. I don't know how long it will last but if I can use it for a year I will buy another one in 2022!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

Works like clockwork

Great product at a great price. It got rid of the annoying vibrations I was feeling. I can rev the engine and now I don't feel anything, just very nice and smooth. To remove the old motor mount I had to use a wide flathead screwdriver to loosen the two tabs, then slide the old motor mount out and slide the new one back onto the mount, after which I had to bend the tabs again. I was surprised it was assembled and replaced this way, but it really wasn't that bad. I'm just surprised it was…

Did a trick to stop vibration when idling

Very easy to change in my Mazda 3. After digging, idle vibrations immediately disappeared. To remove the old bracket from the bracket I used a large flathead screwdriver to slightly bend one of the tabs and then bent all the way with pliers. To install the new bracket, I slipped it into the bracket, bent the tab a little with pliers, and then just tightened it in a vise. Let's see how long this lasts. At least it's cheap and easy to replace. Update: It took about 1 month for the vibration to…

A little difficult to install.

I have a 240,000 mile 2007 Mazda 3 that had a squealing engine and a weird rumble at low rpm. It has a manual gearbox, so at first I suspected a problem with the clutch or the gearbox. After reading a bit on an online forum I decided to try and replace this mount as it is a relatively inexpensive and easy job. The biggest problem in my car was removing the coolant tank due to the plastic tabs holding it in place. You just have to pull really hard to get it out. metal bracket. This is PITA. I…

Engines and engine parts no longer vibrate

This mount will fit a 2014 Focus although Revain's parts finder says it will not fit. I replaced my first mounts for my 66,000 mile DCT with another brand 8,000 miles ago. The vibration made the whole car shake, causing small things to rattle at idle. The old mount that was previously in the car was four times more expensive and came with a one-year warranty that the seller wouldn't honor, nor did Amazon help allow these fly-by-night parts suppliers to run on their platform. So this time I…

If indeed Anchor Mount, then the thing of the century.

There are assumptions about this part. Listed as Anchor 3103. Anchor is a respected manufacturer of bindings. If it's an anchor, the same part will cost over $100 at the aftermarket. The item was unboxed but had a 3103 sticker with the Anchor logo on it. So who knows. I bought this part because it was a cheap way to diagnose my car and find out if the previous bracket I had installed 5 months ago had gone bad. It was. (I also left a review on this part.) So I spent about $20 on this part and 15

Easy enough to replace

2005 Ford Focus ZX4 ST 2.3 liter engine 163,098 miles Original factory mount: For less than ten dollars this is a great value. Removing the old one was easier than expected. The mounting tabs are made of a fairly soft metal that bends easily and fits a new mount. To remove the old one, you need to pull off both tabs. The back does not flatten completely, but can be knocked out with a punch and a hammer. The new rear tab needs to be bent up slightly on the front edge to clear the black mounting…
