🔧 3103 Engine Mount by Anchor Review

Despite all the reviews saying otherwise, I think this is a genuine Anchor part. It's hydraulic, you can shake it and hear the liquid inside. Removed ALL vibrations on my 2007 Focus. Not the easiest thing to install, next time I'll probably buy the one with the bracket, but you can do it with a big flat head and a hammer. I don't know how long it will last but if I can use it for a year I will buy another one in 2022!

Great product at a great price. It got rid of the annoying vibrations I was feeling. I can rev the engine and now I don't feel anything, just very nice and smooth. To remove the old motor mount I had to use a wide flathead screwdriver to loosen the two tabs, then slide the old motor mount out and slide the new one back onto the mount, after which I had to bend the tabs again. Very easy to change in my Mazda 3. After digging, idle vibrations immediately disappeared. To remove the old bracket from the bracket I used a large flathead screwdriver to slightly bend one of the tabs and then bent all the way with pliers. To install the new bracket, I slipped it into the bracket, bent the tab a little with pliers, and then just tightened it in a vise. Let's see how long this lasts. There are assumptions about this part. Listed as Anchor 3103. Anchor is a respected manufacturer of bindings. If it's an anchor, the same part will cost over $100 at the aftermarket.
