Reserved but busy. Does its job

Works well. The filter itself is smaller than I expected, fits in my hand (I have small hands) and doesn't feel intrusive at all when placed in the back of my tank. The suction cups are just great. I know this may sound weird but they are just the best suction cups I've ever had in my old little tank, that's how easy it is to move the filter around, but when I put it back in place it stays just the way I left it it. A cool bonus is the ability to rotate the head so the water comes out at a…

I love these filters!

I have been using Aqueon internal filters for several years without any problems. These are the best filters in this price range! Today I'm reviewing a 40 gallon filter I just bought: Long story but my 60 gallon GOLDFISH tank hasn't been cleaned in over a year. It was very gross when I found it, I couldn't even see my fish unless they touched the glass. I added clean purified water and a 40 gallon filter (the largest of them) and the water cleared overnight. It's still yellow because I didn't…

Amazing price, fantastic function, great small size.

Well don't let the small size fool you, this is a BAD** small filter. I had a small filter emergency when money was tight and we were at a family emergency center. Our 15 year old original Fluval 4 failed in a special turtle tank (50+ gallons of water). I ended up modifying it by taking out the blue thing inside and inserting a Fluval sponge. I find that sponges filter better. And I just threw it in the pool without even changing the water (not the best idea, but we were busy and didn't have…

I bought 2 of these, AT10 and AT30 but returned both as they just didn't work for me. Part of my problem is that the gallons per hour listed here are misleading. Here is what I found on the manufacturer's website as a PDF specification: 10 gal - AT10 - 28-57 gph, 2.6w, 1 small filter 20 gal - AT15 - 32-66 gph, 2.6w, 2 small filters 30 gal - AT30 - 76-142 gal/h, 7 W, 1 large filter 40 gal - AT40 - 83-155 gal/h, 7 W, 2 large filters. AT30 vs AT40. The only difference is that some use 1 filter and

Received the 2nd as a gift

This filter is amazing. Our pool is so clean and quiet now. I took the filter apart and took it apart to add activated carbon and rinse it out. Have been doing it twice a month but I think it's actually starting to work better after it catches a bit so I'll start doing 4 weeks between filter backwashes. With a mini model in a 10 gallon tank, it is small but very well suited for a 10 gallon tank. do your job Update 1 1/2 years later. Still works great. I just rebuild the filter and clean the…

Quiet, unobtrusive, good flow. I like it.

I've only had this filter for a few days but I really like it so far. I bought this to replace the noisy, ugly suspension bio wheel that came with the 20 gallon kit. This filter is very quiet and can be placed very flexibly in the aquarium. It can run horizontally or vertically. The outlet tube is retractable and rotatable. And the flow rate is also adjustable. This way you can place it where it is the least intrusive and you can play with the speed and direction of the current to make it work…
