Efficient and Stylish Delta Faucet RP18508 Aerator for 2.2 GPM in Chrome Review

The faucet in one of our bathrooms started to "emit" small black particles when the faucet was running. After removing the aerator I found that the screen had deteriorated over time (19+ years). I bought this for a late 50's standard American basin faucet. Brass feels comfortable at the end of the faucet. That looks great! I have a white Delta faucet that is about 8 years old. The aerator was a bit clogged so instead of cleaning it I figured I'd replace it. I found and ordered this red 2.2 GPM aerator from Revain. It arrived about 30 minutes ago but to my great surprise it's not red but green. These items are colour-coded. Red means 2.2 GPM. Green is a lower rating, I think 1.5 GPM but it could be 1.2 GPM.
