Know Ahead - Ladders

Not easy to use. The instructions are a faded photocopy with few details. If you want to use this in an emergency, you should be VERY familiar with it beforehand.

I need to find out if it fits

My 13.5 year old baseball and football player was wondering how to carry it in the big box it ended up in at the top. One reviewer said don't unroll it so I don't know how to grab the handles to see how it fits because it's too heavy to hold on windowsills and try on. Also, we are on 3.5 floors, so I have to pull out the screen to try, which is not easy from 3.5 floors. The ladder came in an unmarked box with no length description

I ordered this ladder in case we ever have to flee our 6th floor apartment in an emergency. So I chose 50 feet. The item arrived in a broken unmarked white box wrapped in an unmarked open plastic bag. The only description was a copied page with general instructions for use, but without specifying the length of the stairs.
