Really great for the price.

So far this is a exceptional product for the price. I am using it for home projects, so it does not get heavy usage. However, it does shoot 2" finishing nails perfectly every time. I have had much less success with other brands in the past. Cannot guarantee how long it will last, but I can recommend it for light usage.

Pros
  • Used it for nailing crown molding, worked great...
Cons
  • The nailer may leave unsightly marks or blemishes on finished surfaces

Just buy it. - my new review

I purchased this because of the nose of the gun. I had an employee putting up v groove pine and the design of the nose or foot of the nailer made placing the nails accurately easy. I own a few NuMax products. I do this for a living. Some of my tools are " Pro grade " but Many are not. Pneumatic tools have a shelf life no matter how well you maintain them. This cost 20-25% of others and is easier to use. Obvious choice.

Pros
  • makes installing molding and other wood much easier. no more hammer...
Cons
  • The cost of pneumatic nailer accessories or additional parts may be prohibitive for some users

Not Ok and cheap: my feedback

UPDATE -- I just loaded 16 Ga. 2 inch finish nails into this gun and it fails badly. It may shoot 2 nails in a row, but then misses. I have to pull the magazine open and reclose it to get the next nail to fire. There's just not enough pressure against the nails for it to work. I'm returning it for a refund. You get what you pay for.Two problems: First, although I can lay two strips of nails in the receiver I can’t close the slide. It stops just short of the latch. That’s a design flaw. Second…

Pros
  • Great performance for the value.
Cons
  • May not be user-friendly for those with limited experience or expertise in woodworking

Excellent nailer - my new review

Excellent gun. This was my first major project on my own. The nailer was flawless. You get your money worth out of it. I actually bought their finish nailer as well.

Pros
  • Value for money. light weight and easy to use.
Cons
  • The pneumatic power source may require additional accessories or equipment to operate effectively

My first nailer best in my review

I now own 3 NuMax nailers. They are well-made, easy to load and use, and very reasonably priced. The directed exhaust ports work the same on all of them, which is a handy feature. They all work well with my 6 gallon 2.6 SCFM Craftsman pancake compressor.

Pros
  • Works as good as the highly priced ones at local stores! A+
Cons
  • The weight of the tool may cause fatigue or strain during prolonged use

poor quality product.

poor quality product. the trigger came with the spring loose, and sometimes it pops 2 nails and locks. I'm having to disassemble the gun to get the nail out.

Pros
  • Great nail gun for beginners & easy to use at a great price!
Cons
  • May require additional maintenance and repair, increasing overall cost
