I installed a Eufy doorbell system on my house. The old door bell was 16v so it had to go, only the 40v would work. I searched several transformers and the VIIVRIA was smaller than most of the transformers I looked at so it fit into my pre-exisiting electrical box without a problem. This transformer works great and easy to install with the Eufy. I highly recommend it.

The description of this transformer is basically the opposite of its actual qualities.It said "extra thick” wire, well compared to jewelry wire maybe?Pictured is a competitor that was $3-4 more that was actually a good gauge wire with a complete metal surround vs cardboard and plastic of the reviewed unit.Glad I bought both and glad I returned this product.

I actually ordered 2 of these back on Prime Day for a pair of Ring Doorbell Pros I also bought. It took me a couple of weeks to get around to instal them but it was a breeze and did exactly what was needed. After a month one did die but I just chalk that up to luck of the draw like anything else.

Although the first transformer arrived damaged due to shipping, the replacement was very easy and quick. The second one worked great and runs my two Nest Hello Doorbells. I used this thermostat to replace my old doorbell system that was weak and made both my Ring doorbell and my Nest doorbells to work intermittently.

Transformer didn’t last a week then it quit. I had not the time to check it over and I’m out of my return window now. Guess I’ll be buying another from a different location

I installed a new Eufy doorbell wired version and while setting it up it said that my current transformer is not capable of delivering the voltage that doorbell will require so I researched into doorbell transformers and I found multiple items with pretty much every item had a couple of scary reviews so I decided to try Wearhouse version (got it around 1/2/ price) so that I don't have to bother to return even if transformer fails in a short time. Product took in 120 volts and gets hot quickly. Output was 0 volts. It was dead on arrival. Will return it. That's my feedback.

So far so good. I upgraded to this transformer to run two ring pro doorbells. Both are functional and reporting "good" health in the ring app. It does get a little warm to the touch, not hot, but i would keep that in mind when installing. Mine is on a cement wall.
