Bitlox: A Big Hardware Wallet with Short Functionalities
Bitlox is a type of hardware wallet that became impressive among the audience managing cryptos because it is so different in design to any other wallet existing. However, the design is not the most important fact when choosing a wallet. Instead, features and benefits are what customers are looking for.
The wallet works off-line. Bitlox can be connected via Bluetooth or USB when using it in the desktop. What I do not like is that the company try to provide this device just highlighting the already discussed services it can offer, but it is not a committed project to share improvements or advances in the entire company. If there are wallets limited for cryptocurrency support, then, Bitlox is under the current range of not so useful wallets supporter.
It offers an extended code or seed when registering the device. This is also something I do not like because although security is good, this one is particularly high and tedious. However, this security system is also highly explained in the platform, and it has never been hacked.
For now, using Bitlox will depend on users themselves. Personally, the wallet has developments to release. I do not recommend it because it is an expensive product for the low benefits it offers in the crypto storage.
As a final line, using the service in certain parts of the world is not possible. For example, in Venezuela, it is an expensive option to trade.
Pros
- Wide set of features that boost the usage of the wallet and make it a multi-service device.
- Nice and autonomous design that can become a kind of pocket-wallet.
Cons
- Product with many things to improve. The storage section is not explained. The current quantity of tokens admitted is not clear.
- It has excellent e features, but it does not provide the necessary sections for storing tokens freely and trading them in the same device.
- Restricted in many countries and in others is difficult to acquire.
