The Coinbase wallet is created as an extension of the coinbase platform.
Although the coinbase platform has its own on chain wallet, there are certain cryptocurrencies that is not supported on its platform.
The coinbase wallet on the other hand supports a large number of cryptocurrencies compared to the coinbase platform.
I myself am a user of the coinbase wallet, and I can say that coinbase wallet is a good wallet. Unlike other wallets it is comparably fast in transacting I.e sending and receiving of digital coins.
This makes the usage of the coinbase wallet very easy for its users.
As the security of cryptocurrencies is the aim and priority of all cryptocurrency wallets, the coinbase wallet is also not left behind in this feature.
The important thing that drew me to be a user of the coinbase wallet was that I discovered that the coinbase platform does not support Dogecoin among the list of other coins that it doesn't support.
As I'm already a user of the trust wallet I also discovered that I could also link my trust wallet with the coinbase wallet. through the keys I.e the special security phrases, that acts as the backup for the trust wallet. This shows that it is possible to link the trust wallet with the coinbase wallet. And that the coinbase wallet supports the backup key for the trust wallet.
Since coinbase wallet is an extension of the coinbase platform, it is possible for a user of the coinbase wallet to link (connect) the coinbase wallet with the coinbase platform.
I will highly recommend the coinbase wallet to all coinbase users, and it's much easier to link their coinbase account with the coinbase wallet.
Although I've not experienced any flaws in its usage, I've heard about the inability to set transaction fees and it's high transaction fees.
The coinbase wallet doesn't really have a lot of features.but it performs the basic functions of a cryptocurrency wallet which are fast and secured transactions.
