Easy to assemble but frame arrived bent so brackets didn’t line up. It was a battle to put on wing nuts. It snapped and broke. Very nice quality item. As soon as I put them in my nipples weren’t sore and sensitive like were before. The metal color is your average barbell color. The picture makes it look like dark metal but it’s not. So keep that in mind if color is important to you. But to me it wasn’t I just needed good jewelry to help with healing. I don't really have an opinion yet. I purchased this product to use on a octagon-shaped children's table used in our church nursery. Someone else installed the bumper cushion strip. Since the corners are not the usual 90 degree angle, it was a little tricky/loose at the corners and it may have to be reinforced. I have yet to try the installed product with a group of active children but my hope is that it will prevent head injuries when a child climbs under the table.
