I bought the whole set hoping the largest brush would fit the narrow neck of a wine bottle. The metal rod that holds the bristles has a rounded circle at the end, and that diameter is almost 1 inch wide. My guess is that the neck of any bottle it's used with should be at least 1 inch in diameter. Thin brushes fit the wine bottle, but they cannot reach the bottle's shoulders to remove the sediment. I even bent one in half to bend the end to the shoulder, but the brush was too light and couldn't "clean" the glass. Although this set was not suitable for a narrow neck wine bottle, it was a quality set. To brush. I just didn't need it for any other purpose.
