Review on Motive Products - 0115 Late GM Plastic MC πŸ’ͺ Power Bleeder: Boost Efficiency and Simplicity in Brake System Maintenance by Ikki Martini

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works as promised, but not without effort.

I used this to bleed the brakes on a 1994 Buick Roadmaster. The adapter plate that plugs onto the master is a good size. It was very difficult for me to get it sealed. A lot of the reviews you see suggest using an AC clamp to hold it. I used two 5" clamps and a set of chains to finally get a good seal after many failed attempts and lots of spills. The 5 inch clip barely fits around. I put one in the middle and one in front. Knowing what I know now, I would buy 6 inch clamps for this job. I hooked a chain through the rearmost position and hooked it in place. Chains are the royal PITA to work with, have your C-clips ready before you begin. In order to attach the adapter plate to the Master, I had to move the throttle cables and fuel lines to the side. They are in a very small space between the back of the master and the partition/firewall. To do this, you have to step in at a slight angle and clamp appropriately. It would be nice if the manufacturer made the plate thinner on this side. It could be something unique to this car only.
