They tear best with gloves on
I use them for painting on canvas and they tear so easily! Pulling the rim just up to your wrist will give you a break. I don't mind the material being flimsy, but even the products I add to the paint to thin it out cause the gloves to unravel. I'm not sure who might find them useful, but I wouldn't recommend them to my fellow painters.
