No big deal, I mean of course it's leather, it's just not the supple soft leather I was looking for. It's shiny and thick or hard like leather you might say. It smells a bit like leather, but there's another smell that I can't pinpoint. It's big and contains everything I need but I need to find something to put the rest of my cards in as there are only about 12 slots and I have about 30 cards to make room between my bank cards and insurance Find. Cards and business cards etc. But I don't like the clasp. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's just not for me. In general, the wallet is good. The fine is not $35, but rather a $12.99 fine. There's really nothing wrong with that, it's all very well put together. I'm just disappointed it's not what I was hoping for and will likely return it.
