These are very useful for cleaning anything stuck to dishes or anywhere else in the kitchen. Especially for removing residue from a cast iron skillet. I used to just scrub the surface very hard with a sponge, use a knitted washcloth, steel wool or, frankly, my nails! As my cookware ages (most items are around 15 years old with regular use) things seem to stick more. Especially for my metal products I don't want to use steel wool to clean them. I ended up hitting a wall with these other, less effective methods. My sink has been filled with soaked items too many times to soften hard-to-remove baked/cooked foods. These scrapers work great to provide the necessary friction without scratching. A 90 degree curved side is useful for different shapes of baking utensils and utensils. I think I have red and blue. My kitchen decor is multicolored so I didn't care what colors I got.
