I received these pumps at the end of May so I only used the first one for a month. I liked the easy assembly, detailed instructions and minimal packaging so there isn't a lot of waste. The pump fits perfectly in the mason jar and has worked flawlessly for a month. Then it suddenly stopped foaming and just spat out the liquid (I used liquid castile soap and water with essential oils), but not even very well. I removed the pump from the jar to see if everything was connected. I actually had to take it apart and it turned out that the hose going through the spring was broken, but I'm not sure if that was the problem or not. It doesn't matter, he wasn't pumping foam. So I'm now using the second pump that came with it and I'm hoping it lasts a lot longer than the first one because I really like how much foam comes out and how pretty they look on the can.
