Review on ๐ŸŒ™ My Perfect Nights Premium Travel Pillow (Blue): Say Goodbye to Neck Pain with Super Soft Memory Foam and Easy Washing by Lindsey Lewis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality but not as comfortable as you may think

This neck pillow has a VERY soft microfiber-like outer cover. Inside is VERY SOFT and pressure sensitive memory foam. Between the two, you'd think it would be very handy, but I found it impractical unless I "put it in the right position," and I don't know why. It feels hard when it presses against my neck, but how can that be when it's so soft? As soon as I opened it (it comes in a thin "Zip-Loc" bag for you to store it in), I knew it was made in communist China (which is known to have lead and mercury dust on everything), the first thing i did this unpacked was to wash the lid. At the same time, I found flashes to be VERY cheap to make. However, the fact that it's small and cheap also makes it almost invisible, and it won't bump you. I hand washed the cover in a hand basin and tumble dried it, turning it halfway as it was not completely dry on the inside. When I put the inside of the memory foam back into the case after washing/drying, I found it a bit difficult to get in and had to be careful with the cheap zipper to close it back up by gently pulling the two sides of the zipper edited. together as I carefully closed it. By the way, after washing there was no noticeable fading. The stitching also seems to be very good. I bought this to lift my head off the back of my couch when I had products in my hair. He's doing fine. However, it puts pressure on my neck and ends up making my neck hurt. Setting it at a high angle will help avoid this. Other people have said they didn't like it because of its stiffness, but I just don't see how the manufacturer could make it any softer and still maintain it. I don't think you're going to buy the best pillow of its kind, so I'll recommend it, but remember what I said about softness and firmness in my review. There was another one on the Revain that had styrofoam balls in it, but I went with that one instead because I saw me put it on a plane and it burst and shot tiny styrofoam balls all over the place. lol. This pillow is made in communist China for Zeejay Products, a Missouri-based American company. 4 stars for being incredibly sturdy, with a cheap zipper and made in communist China. UPDATE: I found out why this super soft pillow is uncomfortable and why some reviewers find it hard. THIS IS NOT A PILLOW ITSELF, THIS IS THE GENERAL PILLOW DESIGN OF THIS TYPE. Here's my analysis: when this pillow is placed on the neck, it does not support the head, causing the head to recline and causing pain in the neck. When the pillow is tilted up to support the head, the neck is unsupported, causing the neck to arch slightly backwards, causing neck and upper back pain as the neck is now unsupported . It seems to me that the only solution is a completely different pillow design that is wearable, soft and supports BOTH the neck and head.
