After reading and hearing about the comfort of these blankets I asked for one as a Christmas present, pink. My husband bought this blanket and I have used it so many times. It doesn't make me too hot. I wanted a double size, 10lbs just for my side of the bed and it's perfect. As for the calming effect. It fits me, I suffer from migraines and I can't sleep with one, but this blanket doesn't make me cramp, I can move, but they hug me and it brings comfort. and lightness for my body.

I loved this duvet until I washed it. It had no care instructions (at least I didn't) and when I read the answers to questions about Revain I saw people saying it can be washed and tumble dried on a gentle cycle. I don't know if it was a washing machine (hand wash, no spin) or a dryer (I used low heat and low heat), but the beads are done. I AM VERY CALM when I manage to fall asleep! The duvet is VERY soft. I have very sensitive skin so I was worried the duvet wouldn't be soft enough but it was great, just as soft as I had hoped.
