I was expecting it to be a semi-rigid neck pillow. What I received was a hard foam roller in a detachable cloth case. It wasn't comfortable to use at all. It made the pain in my neck worse and it wasn't a worthwhile purchase. They must remove all keywords from the description and clearly state what their product is about.

Pillow perfect size and density but still very hard as it's new. I have had a similar pillow for over 15 years and it too was a little hard and stiff at first but softened but remained supportive and very comfortable. I can't say anything bad because I know the more I use it, the more I'll need it. 4 stars only for stiffness when new. This pillow was designed to provide extra firm support for my C spine. So if you need a pillow to sink into, you should look for a softer pillow.

I was worried after I ordered it because I read more reviews some said it was too hard. But I thought it was perfect! I have osteochondrosis in the cervical spine and was afraid it would be too hard. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was strong enough to support my neck but not so strong that it made it worse. I would recommend everyone to buy this pillow, I just wish I could get two more! One for my back and one for my husband who keeps trying to steal it! Rschunimagu

I bought this for my mum last Christmas. She never slept comfortably, she could only sleep for a few hours at a time and put a rolled up towel under her neck just to get comfortable. Since using this pillow, her neck and shoulder pain has disappeared and she can finally sleep through the night. When I visited the house I had migraines and couldn't sleep well, she lent me her pillow, it relieved the pain and helped get rid of my migraines; I've since bought one myself.

I have a hard time understanding who this product is for. It's not soft, but it's not rock hard either. It doesn't work effectively as a head or neck pillow as it's too big to actually rest in the neck area (i.e. between your head and shoulders), your head will float off the floor a bit. The "suitcase" is a thin, rough thing, not a real case (opening the "suitcase" confronts you with raw foam). Take a look if you are looking for an absurdly hard, very small round neck pillow. , big! But not me.

Anyway, I bought two of these pillows to use as support for a variety of back and body aches and to use as throw pillows with my new furniture.
