great combination and value for money

I have used 2 larger clamps as retractable swivel wheels for my welding table. I welded a nut to the end of the yoke and screwed in the swivel wheel, then I welded the yoke to the leg and bracket. Boom! retractable swivel wheels! When standing, the welding table rests securely on the stable table leg with leveling screw.

Jig Clamps are best in Toggle Clamps

I use them to hold boards on a straight edge and it seems like I have to use different spacers under the for each different thickness of board I'm working with use brackets. The major disadvantage is that the handles are horizontal when engaged, which requires the whole device to be considerably wider and therefore much heavier than if the handles were vertical. I use 3/4" MDF so the screws bite enough and the weight is noticeable. While they work I'll look into another option.

    Great buy for the price

I have some highly rated clamps from hf (Tool Space) and to be honest I have no idea how well constructed they are or not. Compared to my more expensive tweeter clamps, the thumb seems a bit shorter, but the metal and construction seem about the same. The big question is whether they work. I personally can't say. They hold my parts just as well, don't slip, but are generally cheaper. But to be honest I bought them for my own router table that I make so I haven't used them yet but have for a few
