When it's safe to go back to bars and restaurants I'll use my straws. It's better than I hoped. I left one in a glass of water for 24 hours as an experiment and it's still in perfect condition. I considered bringing reusable silicone or metal straws, but they are tooth-friendly, completely tasteless, and eco-friendly. The seller also included a note printed on agave fiber paper. I will be a regular customer and share with all my friends. Graces, Dona Carmen!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Why don't these exist anymore?!

I first tried these straws while on vacation in Mexico. I was amazed I didn't see them anywhere in the United States! I mean what an amazing idea: agave straws! They're durable, they don't have that weird plastic smell that other straws have, and to be honest, they're pretty pretty. I would say the only downside is that they are smaller. Not tiny, but slightly smaller than your traditional straw. But I think if we donate a small amount to help the environment why not. It would be great to see…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

THIS IS THE STRAW YOU ARE LOOKING FOR

Okay I've tried them all. Plasticless' compostable straws are good too, maybe even better as they have no texture. But compostable does not equal biodegradable. And these agave straws are made from scraps from the tequila production process, so they have the added benefit of using that scrap. Repeat texture. The straw has a rough texture. This came as a surprise as straws are usually smooth. But that didn't bother me at all, they don't get wet and don't fall apart. There is no smell or taste…

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Damaged
