Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

Different pros: Excellent recording, 2022 interface, figured it out in 15 minutes, while never had experience with recorders. With its cons: I didn’t find it, it’s possible only if the recording nearby with various electrical and radio devices interferes. But this minus is overwhelmed by all the pluses of the device.

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

Someone mentioned that it picks up the sound of the wind. This is not a drawback in any way. On the other hand, the sensitivity of the microphones is pretty high. When filming outside, having protection from the wind is essential. But as a result, it "cuts off" some of the higher frequencies to some degree. These complexities need to be taken into consideration.

  • An outstanding mobile recording device that possesses a wide range of functionalities. The recordings are very good considering the limitations of the portable equipment. It can function either as an audio interface for use with a USB port or as a sound card for a computer. Convenient and logical control.
Cons
  • Memory card not included in this purchase. This is not a detriment in any way. However, the process is rather particular, and the memory card must be chosen in accordance with a special table that can be found on their website. Everyone who tries won't be successful. At least, that is what the company that made the product asserts. A familiar specialist went out and purchased a memory card for me, which turned out to be significantly more expensive than comparable cards, although it does match the suggestions in the table. It would be convenient if they came with a card that only had a limited storage capacity, as this would allow the gadget to be ready to use as soon as it was removed from the packaging. These additional "troubles" are a general concern. On the other hand, if you get such gear, it indicates that you are truly interested in sound recording and that you must be prepared to dedicate both time and money to the endeavor.

I like everything, the quality is good and the price is reasonable.

USB port not ready for prime time use

I was very excited about this project as it could be used to record podcasts on your desk like Blue Snowball via USB or for use in the field as a standalone recorder for Interviews can be used or over a tripod. What a disappointment. I'm a bit embarrassed because I'm the guy everyone calls to help them solve problems like this. Great little voice recorder

Great product. I have used Tascam products in the past but wanted a handheld recorder for my music projects and for writing simple songs. I am very happy with the sound quality of this recorder and the ease of use. It handled my garage band at full volume with ease, and I also like the "overdub" feature (which lets you quickly record an idea and then dub the bits over the original). Don't install drivers, you'll regret it.

At first glance, the recorder is well made. The sound quality appears to be excellent. I say "seems" because I'm having trouble getting it to interact with my PCs. I have 2 PCs with the latest version of Windows 10. Neither of them recognize the microphone. I followed the instructions in the email and nothing worked. An email to tech support eventually got a response telling me to call to discuss this. The tech support guy couldn't help but one thing he said put me on track to get it working on
