Works great! I have a raised yard surrounded by gravel. This pillow fully cushions my knees. It doesn't feel like gravel underneath, but it's soft enough to comfortably weed for an hour. Glory to the manufacturer!

This knee pad is too narrow for adults to wear. It's really uncomfortable because you have to constantly adjust it below your knees - mine keeps slipping off the ledge and onto the rocks - oops! I bought it because it was made in the USA, but I don't recommend it.

I have a wooden bench that I take with me to work in the garden with low plants and shrubs. The wood is too hard for my back so this pillow is the perfect solution. It's strong enough to stay on the bench with elastic straps and soft enough to sit comfortably. I've spent a lot of time looking for the right pad and it works great.

Many of the new knee pads have ridges and/or are too thin and uncomfortable for my arthritic knees. This knee pad is smooth and sturdy but comfortable for me to kneel on. It seems like it could be difficult to clean, so I keep the pad in the clear plastic bag while I'm on my knees. These knee pads have a solid feel; I hope they last long.
