💙 Blue Protective Storage Case for New Nintendo 2DS XL by AUSTOR: Ultimate Carrying Solution Review

I really like this bag. Lots of space and that's exactly what I was looking for! The only problem I have is that it stinks. But I'm sitting here to see if I can get rid of some of the smell.

I wanted to give a good review but the problem is the games slip out of the slots that should keep them in the pocket, awful you can lose games one by one 🤦🏻‍♀️

I received it and it works great, fits all my games and my console BUT it smelled so bad when I got it in the mail! Like a horrible plastic smell that just won't go away when there's not enough wind!

Protects and transports the ds2 well with the charging cable. It's quite narrow though, so I'm not sure how we can fit game cartridges into the slots and still close it. I think time will tell when my kids will get the game collection.

I totally agree with the previous review. Good sleeve except for the smell which I equate to poop in the park which kind of came to life, immediately started smoking non stop then found this sleeve to sleep in every night. Three stars from an optimistic perspective that will resolve before I die or at least break my game system while playing Mario Kart 7.

Okay, I'm only giving 4 stars because of the hinged lid that's supposed to be used to store the carts, which is basically useless. In the end I cut it out. It's not a big loss for me as I only need it to store my console and power supply, and a very good stylus. My 2DS XL is tight enough to be secure. It's good that I have a special suitcase in which to store my toy carts. Also, it's a good case if you just need to protect your console.

The chemical smell is TERRIBLE and gets on everything it comes in contact with, including DS and games. I hope the ventilation helps reduce the smell but other reviews don't seem promising. Also, the DS game bags are quite narrow, making it difficult to place cartridges in the front row. However, it feels fairly sturdy and holds the console securely, and it can also fit a wall charger. In general I don't recommend it, I'm sure you can find a better case for the same price.

I received this case in July after reading some comments about the smell and thinking it would dissipate over time. I got it and immediately understood what people were talking about; very, very strong smell of burnt rubber or something like that. Seriously, it's the first thing you'll notice. Overall the case itself is decent, the only annoyance is that the rubber strap that holds the games inside doesn't reveal the name of the game, which is a bit inconvenient. Also, the elastic is so tight…
