Don't waste money on them.

The description says the pressure drops to 6psi. I tried adjusting to 10psi off-road and they had to be loosened enough that the nut on the post had less than one thread holding it. Needless to say, when the tire was mounted, a thread came loose and all the components came out.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some trouble

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice but slower than expected.

So far they have been easy to adjust I used a spare tire to start, then went to my jeep and reset all 4 tires to 15psi in under 5 minutes. It won't save much time, but it will free me up to take care of other things (before the trip), BS with buddies or whatever. I will test and review them several times.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Buy at your own risk

Received these this morning just in time for off road day. The adjustments didn't work. Should have stayed with Smittybilt as I've had better luck in the past. They didn't arrive in a tin as shown in the photo, just a black bag. Which doesn't matter, but they shouldn't advertise it along with the tin unless they're going to ship it. They will be returned soon.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for elderly

Worth the price of tire repair tools

I received them quickly, I bought them when airing on the beach. I immediately opened them up to check the seals and debris and they were fine, the spring is not brass. I adjusted them all to around 15lbs and then tested them - no issues with testing so far. Vents from 35psi in about two minutes, no loud whistle, I plan to take them out in about 10 minutes. I see no point in leaving them there if there is no air.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • unreliable

Directions could be clearer

I got these to keep in my car for off road use after not defating my tires and had 2 flat tires. I changed tires and decided to try these. After reading the guide a few times, I decided to try it on one of my new tires. It didn't "pop" like the instructions say, but it was capable of deflating the tires to 20psi. It doesn't go any further or they fall apart. I'll see if I'm happy with them after a trip in a few weeks.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Slightly dented

The installation took a while but after several tries I got it.

It took a while to install but after a few tries I got it. My only complaint is that the air pressure really slows down as they approach requested PSI. I want the valve to stay fully open until the desired PSI is reached. When it's time to hit the road, I can still hear a small amount of air coming out of them, so I'll never get to the desired PSI range unless I leave it permanently and slowly deflate. For the price, I think it's worth the effort.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • So far so good

Not very consistent out of the box. I suspect the o-ring or spring needs a better size. Modified shaft with a softer O-ring and additional ventilation openings. Works a little faster and a little more stable. Now remember that my review is not biased. I have not tried more expensive versions of well-known brands. Overall they work flawlessly and apart from being 90% vented and unwinding with a handheld meter it's not a big deal.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Frequency

Not perfect, but good value for money.

It seems to work fine. I manually powered them several times before making my first attempt at calibrating them. When you have the tire set to the desired pressure, turn it 1/8 after the hiss is closed. They seem to be more accurate above 15 pounds than below. Under 15lbs you have to watch out for the hiss - it starts out loud, then fades a bit and then becomes barely audible - once it's barely audible remove the deflator and check the pressure, you're probably where you need to be . They'reโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • Some disadvantages
