not scary but I won't buy again and probably won't even use

this stuff is fine. not my favorite but not terrible. It's not as thick as I'd like, feels and smells like sunscreen. absorbs well, I still wipe it off at the next diaper change. It helps with redness, but it takes a while. I'm used to the redness going away the next time I change my diaper. he has no terrible redness and never a rash. So if it does little for a minor reddening, I doubt it will do much for a real rash. I really wanted to like it, but I go back to the beautycounter diaper cream.

Too little zinc oxide, too little protection

I really wanted to like this diaper cream. We love other baby soap products (lotion and baby soap) and I love the idea of skipping the store and ordering from Amazon. But this product just doesn't cut it. We use the cream for our son as he has RMBs very frequently, often while sleeping. We have used this bottle and it does not provide adequate protection. At the end of the bottle the skin on his butt was torn, so sad. I suspect this is because this product only has 17% Zinc Oxide compared toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Diaper creams
Cons
  • Without automatic

Less zinc but comparable to Babo. A little less expensive.

Always look for unscented baby products that have few or no harmful ingredients. It's hard to find ones that don't contain essential oils for my daughter's sensitive, eczema-prone skin, plus I just want a few scents. I usually buy unscented Babo Zink diaper cream, but it's bloody expensive for something we use so often (almost $9 for a tube!). This diaper cream is a little cheaper but has less zinc than Babo (16% vs 25% I think) but is thicker and of the same quality. Seems to be just asโ€ฆ
