Buyers beware, they are falsely advertised as stainless steel when they are not. Even the label says "Steel" keychain wire, not stainless. I think it's galvanized so it has a shiny finish. I tested one by soaking it in water for 2 days and it didn't rust. After the wire coating was removed, it began to rust in less than 3 hours. Unfortunately, Amzn sells a lot of fakes. Promote products even though I'm a big fan of Amzn.

They're fine for light use like key fobs, but don't make the same mistake I did for thinking they could be used for heavy duty. The cable is only glued into the screw holder and immediately jumps out under heavy use. It's not what the manufacturer sells them for, so it's my fault, but worth knowing nonetheless. They are still very good for what they are marketed for.

Bought these to use as a glove holder. I'm a forest firefighter and tired of trying the standard key ring through leather gloves. It's much easier to make a small hole and then thread it through and tighten. Then I can hook the gloves into the carabiner attached to the belt loop. There were no issues with sharp edges or loosening.
