Orange Perfection

This beautifully crafted piece of art looks like Jesus kissed me personally on the tip. The beautiful curves and orange body in the monk's robe make it the perfect object to dip my probe into.

Pros
  • Easy to Install
Cons
  • Expensive

Fitted, OEM replacement was broken

After a 2004 Jetta oil rod cap broke I order this and most of the time I have to deal with removing a piece of plastic that broke on the inside next to the engine block after I just plugged this in and woala good in the new one

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Weight

Works well. Seems a little cheaper than the original but the price is great

Five stars but seems a little cheaper than the original. It fit perfectly in my VW Golf 04. Installation was easy enough. The hardest part was removing the old one, which was falling apart around the motor. The new one slides in easily and works as it should.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Works and very easy to install.

Very easy to install on 2005 vw jetta 2.0. I broke my other one by barely bending it to one side. Probably from heat and age. This color is more orange than the standard yellow. But it fits and is the right length. Just put it on and tap it lightly with a soft mallet.

Pros
  • Everything OK!
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Excellent value for money but will not fit OEM

Loose and pulls out with the dipstick when nothing is holding it (e.g. engine cover). The OEM fit is a lot tighter and feels a lot thicker but for the price I can't complain as it gets the job done. The product itself is more of a 3.5-4 star product but given the value for money it is a 5 star product.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some small things

Check your dipstick NOW!

As OEM version. These dipstick tubes should be serviced regularly. Plastic ages and becomes brittle over time. With this new one I'm ready to go. Oh, I have a 2000 Jetta with 340,000 miles and a 2001 Golf with 114,000 miles. About every 50,000 miles you need to replace yours before parts come loose and fall into the engine. This is easy work.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Without automation

Fits like a charm, best in spares

My old gauge funnel rotted and eventually broke. This one was great. It fits like a charm, looks great and is brand new on my engine and works great. No problems yet, I've been installing for almost 3 months. If you find yours broken I highly recommend this. I drive a 2000 Jetta with a 2.0 4 cylinder engine. The best part is that I don't lose oil where the old one broke. Good price, fast delivery and a happy customer.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

Perfect fit for my 2002 Jetta. A 10mm screw holds the engine cover in place. Remove the dipstick and engine cover, pry up the remainder of the old dipstick tube and then place the replacement on the underside, making sure the top groove fits into the right hand tab, gently hammer the assembly in with a piece of wood and hammer them in. Then put the engine cover back on. The whole process takes about 5 minutes.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

CLICK, JOIN AND READY!

Purchased for 2004 Volkswagen GLS. This car has had multiple owners and an auction house (thanks - CarFax). Maybe there was overheating or due to age all the plastic under the hood is very brittle. The original plastic tube of the dipstick was cracked in two places. This replacement pipe finally prevents dirt from getting into the crankcase! If you find yourself in a similar situation, plug the tube with a paper towel, remove/peel away any remaining yellow plastic, wipe the crankcase bracket…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Will be added later
