holland bowl recommends these

I have a large 17 inch Dutch maple salad bowl that is at least 25 years old and will last even longer with regular sanding and bee oil. I have used this product on a cutting board, salad bowl or any wooden food product. It's safe and reliable.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Very expensive

love this product! for household items

nothing has ever made my wooden bowls and utensils better. One thing I don't recommend is leaving the wax for a day after applying it and then popping it in the oven on top of the cookies. The newspaper issued a 15-minute warning. Helps penetrate deeper into the forest with fewer uses.

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • nothing here

Fantastic product, terrible packaging

This is a great product but the plastic container it comes in is terrible. The jar had cracks on the lid and side and I will most likely have to pour the bee oil into another jar. 8 ounces. This product is more than enough to last several years as I use it to condition wooden spoons, bowls and cutting boards.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Negative impression

Rejuvenates an old wooden salad bowl

Loved that the bowl wood was given new life; however, it did not glow like oiling. In addition, bee oil was very viscous and more difficult to apply than oil. However, the surface retained its appearance longer than with the oil treatment. (Despite the word "oil" in the name, it was much thicker than an oil-based product.)

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

So delicious. smell that is. Do not eat.

It is a great pleasure to use this product. Your woodwork smells wonderful, deliciously lemony. your hands too. The smell dissipates after a while and does not spoil food cooked on a cutting board, for example. But the memory lives on, and you'll always look forward to reworking the tree. During this time the tree will look fantastic and last much longer.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • thin

Great product. My wooden cutting boards, walnut salad bowls, and a few other wooden items were so thirsty. I had a knife holder that I tried preserving with teak oil and that helped a little. But thanks to Bee's Oil Salad Bowl and Wood Conditioner, all my wood shone like freshly cut wood. This is really a great product. (I think it was good for my hands too!)

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
