Magnet does not work above 60 mph

Picks up almost all frequencies. It's flat, flexible, and the connector on the long cord is great. Going away from the wind didn't blow it away at 60 mph, but after you hit the wind and went 55 mph it got blown away. I rubber taped it to a stronger magnet to hold it to the car and it works.

Pros
  • Ideal for small homes
Cons
  • Safety

Scrap (good for melee)

If you're using this for firefighting/EMS/off-road, be sure to get something larger (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L61ZQRD /ref =ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) I have that, huge difference. I'm sure this will be sufficient for very short distances or use in a single object. The price matches the product, but for an extra €10 you get something twice as good. It's child's play for me.

Useless for amateur radio.

In 1/4 mile testing, the rubber ducky antenna on the handheld outperformed the Bingfu mounted on the roof of my truck. There may have been a mismatch issue since I was on GMRS instead of a 440MHz ham radio. Looks like a pretty weak magnet but holds up at 55mph. I haven't tested it at higher speeds. I tried a 2m ham radio and couldn't call any local repeaters that I could hit with a rubber ducky.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Some Difficulties

Does the job

Great little antenna. I definitely noticed an increase in range and was able to pick up transmissions for about 11 miles (mostly line of sight with some terrain in between). The magnet isn't very strong but so far has held up well on the roof of my car when driving on the freeway (75+ mph). I use it with my Uniden BC75XLT and it does the job. I am satisfied and will buy more.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • OK overall but...

Good value for my purposes

Decent solution for my occasional use with a handheld scanner in the car to improve the signal instead of an additional 17" antenna or a short standard antenna. I simply placed the magnet base on the roof, then fed the wire through the door opening and closed the door. Plug the BNC connector into the front seat and connect it to the scanner. Yes, it's a thin wire compared to shielded cables, but that makes it withstand a closed door. Haven't deployed the antenna at freeway speeds so can't…

Pros
  • Handy part
Cons
  • Not the best

A simple solution. Don't complicate!

Excellent antenna. Obviously, at $9.99, don't expect miracles. It won't get stuck at highway speeds! But I don't need it. I use it when I have trains parked. This has greatly improved the reception on my scanner and I no longer have any disruptive interruptions in noise reduction. I like coax. This is not a standard RG58. But it's a lot thinner so it fits snugly in my tailgate when I'm parked and the coax cable is long enough to get to my scanner and still use it. So I'm giving this little guy…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Bad impression
