Dissapointing: my feedback

The charger doesn't stay connected to the device very well. The device won't stay connected to the app very well. There's a Go-tcha classis app that doesn't appear to do anything.Occasionally I will get it to connect to my game and catch things for me but it rarely works on the first try and usually disconnects itself after 5-10 minutes. I waited to write this review till I could be sure I wasn't doing something wrong but the troubleshooting support for this is nonexistent.Oh and when it does…

Pros
  • 4.53 x 3.03 x 2.05 inches
Cons
  • The connection to your phone can be unreliable and disconnect frequently

This POS wont charge

I have spent more time attempting to charge it then using it, did not have this issue with the original tis charger sucks and wont connect and charge correctly. I would like a refund I will get the old one, I was wondering why this version was so cheap now I know.

Pros
  • Vibration feedback ensures you never miss a catch or find, even if you're not actively using the device
Cons
  • The device can be lost easily due to its small size

Charge nightmare good for me

The charging unit is absolutely impossible to figure out in order to get to work. Does magnet doesn’t stay the course not long enough. It’s an engineering disaster. Avoid this product.

Pros
  • -'Auto-catch' mode, Colour touch-screen, Animated graphics, Vibration feedback
Cons
  • The device can be expensive and not worth the investment

Absolutely horrible

For starters the charging mechanism sucks and hard to stay attached. When I was finally able to get it fully charged, it stopped working a day later. Wouldn’t charge or turn on.I returned it for a different modelI wish I could have given 0*

Pros
  • -Compatible with iOS 12 or later installed. Compatible with Android devices with 2 GB RAM or more, Bluetooth Smart (Bluetooth Ver. 4.0 or higher) capability, and Android Ver. 5.0 or higher installed.
Cons
  • The animated graphics can be distracting and disrupt gameplay

Charger is horrible!

I love these devices and have owned 3 different kinds and was excited for a bigger screen and color. But this charger is the worst and I will go back to the original gotcha when it come back in stock. Horrible design. Even tho it's magnetic, it still doesn't charge correctly and easily falls off. Very disappointing.

Pros
  • Beginners and experienced players alike can benefit from the ease and convenience of the Black Mcbazel Datel Go-Tcha Classic
Cons
  • The Go-Tcha Classic can malfunction and require repairs or replacement

Inconsistent in my review

Got this so I could get stops & catch pokemon while driving and I'm less than impressed. It's constantly disconnecting itself from my phone, just won't catch/spin about half the time.Overall, I'm pretty disappointed and would return it if I could.

Pros
  • Super helpful for catching Pokémon/spinning stops it just dies really quickly.
Cons
  • I ordered 2 of these the first had a cracked screen. The 2nd one didn't connect to the app.

It didn't work on my review.

I bought this but couldn't figure out how to get it to work. Charging it was hard, the device doesn't stick to the charger well, and it's hard to charge up.

Pros
  • This Pokémon go bracelet is easy to use for go and awesome too
Cons
  • This gotcha does not work at all. Lights work but never registers anything.

Downgrade from the original

This product is a downgrade from its predecessor in every meaningful category. Poor battery life ( < 3 hours on a full charge) and the most finicky magnetic charging cord make the Datel Go-Tcha Classic a nightmare to use.But hey, it's got a color screen.

Pros
  • Battery-saving design ensures you can play for longer without worrying about your device dying
Cons
  • The device may lead to decreased physical activity during gameplay

More reliable than official Go Plus; some annoying quirks

Mostly works as intended. Biggest annoyance is that it's very easy to accidentally touch the screen for a couple seconds and cause it to vibrate and show some kind of black screen with white numbers. Even if I just have it in my pocket, sometimes my thigh touching the screen through the fabric is enough to frequently trigger this annoyance. The other annoying part is the HORRIBLE charger. It attaches with a very weak magnet and it's difficult to tell when you're putting it on upside down. The…

Pros
  • Animated graphics make it easy to see exactly what Pokemon you're catching or what item you're finding
Cons
  • The Auto Catch function can drain your Pokeball and item reserves quickly

Charger is weird: my feedback

Charger is weird and wasn't sure if it was charging or not but left it on for an hour or so and it worked fine. I've had no problems it works as intended.

Pros
  • Compact size makes it easy to take the Black Mcbazel Datel Go-Tcha Classic with you wherever you go
Cons
  • The Go-Tcha Classic can be difficult to use with one hand while walking or on the go

Works Good, poor charging device

It works good but this is different than the ones I have purchased in the past. It connects faster but it needs to be almost on top of the phone while connecting. Not a problem if you know it. It seems to catch a fraction faster and more readily spins poke-stops more frequently. This charging device is the reason for the lower rating. It is a weak magnet holding a 2 prong charging device on it which can easily be misaligned or upside down and won't charge. It basically has to be face down so…

Pros
  • 1 Lithium Ion batteries required. (included)
Cons
  • The Go-Tcha Classic can accidentally catch low-level Pokemon you may want to skip

Seemed great until the plug snapped off

The battery didn’t last terribly long. The charger connection was snapped into the face piece. It was designed way too tight to open or use easily. It was almost like the opening was too small for the connecting item to move in and out safely. The directions suggest to move it at an angle but even that seems not to work. This is cheaply made and the plastic snapped at the connection, leaving exposed wires, rather than coming out of the holder as it should. I did return it and would like to…

Pros
  • Auto catch feature saves you time and makes it easy to rack up Pokemon catches and items quickly
Cons
  • The vibration feedback can be annoying and disruptive in public settings

Works great! Be careful removing form bracelet.

I love this one. It works on multiple devices without having to unsync/resync.It only charges in one direction, so make sure it’s charging when you plug it in.

Pros
  • Stylish and sleek design is sure to impress both fellow Pokemon Go players and non-players
Cons
  • The vibration feedback can be ineffective or take too long to signal a successful catch

Great functionality, terrible charging

The functionality of this version of the Gotcha is superior to the original in terms of its ability to spin stops. However, the charging connection is much worse. As others have noted, it's a weak magnetic connection with nothing physical to align the pins. It's a challenge every time I have to charge. Battery life is also worse, only lasting about a day.

Pros
  • -Firmware upgradable and setting can also be done via Go-tcha Classic mobile APP (available in Google Play and iOS APP Store).
Cons
  • The device can drain your phone's battery quickly

Works fine, terrible charging

This works fine for playing and seems to last for 7 to 8 hours of continuous play, does the same basic job as an original Go-tcha.Problem arises with charging, I bought this to replace my wife's evolve which had it's leads break off when I pulled the band off to recharge. (The Evolves recharge design is also terrible) so we decided to try this one. It has a better battery life than the Evolve, however it's probably almost as bad to charge as the evolve. The Charge cord is short, the "magnetic"…

Pros
  • Durable construction ensures your device can stand up to the wear and tear of daily use
Cons
  • The device might be recognized as cheating by other players and result in negative social consequences

Terrible purchase. - my new review

Connection issues. Fixed them and they came back. Reconnecting at least 3 or 4 times an hour. Power issues. Goes from 4 power bars to 1 and stops working immediately. Still we tried. Several You-tubers recommend this specific one. I tracked them down and got 2, one for my wife, one for myself. She stopped using it within 2 days and went back to the legitimate Pokemon go plus she did not want to use because there was no way to stop the vibration. She would rather deal with the vibration than…

Pros
  • Leave your phone in your pocket and let the Black Mcbazel Datel Go-Tcha Classic do the work for you
Cons
  • The Go-Tcha Classic may give the impression that the player is not fully engaged in the game

Terrible piece of junk

Came broken out the box. Doesn’t even stay on unless it’s connected to the horrible 2 inch charger. And the screen pops off any time you touch it do not buy this. Plus random screen pops up when the charger connects to it wrong

Pros
  • Toys & Games
Cons
  • The device can randomly disconnect from your phone and require frequent re-connection

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not as good as the original!

This charger setup is a joke. The connection to the charger is very unreliable. The battery seems to last a day or so, where the older ones would last me 2 or 3 days. It's not the same size. I'm just not happy with it.

Pros
  • -Built-in rechargeable battery. Charging time about 1 hour and lasts for approx. 12 hours with continuous use. Standby time approx. 48 hours.
Cons
  • The vibration feedback can be too strong and uncomfortable
