Not ideal, but the best alternative for my use.

I wear them all summer on our lake - I'm very disappointed with how silly they look :) but they are perfect for walking on the docks etc. They walk on the water like they are barefoot. Especially since we have zebra mussels that are cut with bare feet. Out of the water they are good on any surface except sharp rocks. Cons: 1) They don't dry quickly and I usually take them off when fishing so my feet don't get wet. 2) They are not easy to put on when wet. Finally, mine aren't usually worn for…

Apart from that.perfect.

When they came out I immediately liked the look of them, strong but smooth water shoes. I tried them and they were also very light. I was satisfied nonetheless. When I finally put them on the beach, they got wet. The seam where the nylon meets the rubber on the toe has started to rub. As a result, a skin cut in several places. Doesn't make walking on the water/beach comfortable. I ended up having to walk barefoot for the rest of the trip. But apart from the cuts in the salt water, they were…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Too silly

Terrible quality, do not order.

Order one size smaller. Or don't order at all. These things are huge. And part of the ankle digs in and is very uncomfortable. Returned for correct size and the seam fell apart right out of the box. Unacceptable.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Very expensive

Body Glove Men's 3T Barefoot

Suggested buying a pair in a size smaller than what would normally be worn for a normal sized shoe and it was spot on. They fit as expected and the way I use them as indoor MMA shoes is different than what they are normally used for. They work well but have caused some rubbing in my healing area and caused some blisters which are easily remedied by applying a band aid to the area before exercising.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • So far so good
