These heads are removable so they can be replaced with a trimmer head. Unfortunately they are too easy to remove. If you have a square face, these heads will pop out instantly when crossing corners.

My brother had to change the slide and it was as advertised. It fitted and allowed him to use his razor for its intended purpose. The price was cheaper than on the manufacturer's website.

Braun recommends replacing the cutting head every 18 months. So I bought about 18 months in advance. When I opened the box the replacement did not fit my Model 7 (Type 5692). There was no indication that the Model 7 had many different cutting heads. Return not possible due to 1 year right of return.

What a Waste! Low quality. I ended up going to Bed, Bath and Beyond for the same product as this product was of poor quality and gave a terrible shave. Save your money!
