The wire was quite stiff and stiff. It is not easy to bend like normal 16 gauge wire. More like a 14 than a 16. It's great for making a giant flower.

I ordered this to make an artificial rose vase for my grandfather's funeral and it works great as I expected and I love its thickness like a thick stemmed rose. I love it and it works so well.

I was hoping to find wrapped stem blanks that were about the same diameter as some of the actual flower stems, or with the same flexibility and support, and that's what they are there. The fact that they are already tightly wrapped makes it easy to attach sprays with floral wire and/or floral ribbon. As someone else said, you need good, sharp wire cutters, but that goes for many thicker flower stems as well. GREAT PRODUCT - Supports almost all life size artificial flowers. Thanks for that…
