The dolls are so beautiful. You pose beautifully.

I really think having an elf on the shelf is an expensive treat. You pay for the brand just like you pay for any copyrighted product. I don't pay any advertising fees, so I chose these wonderful plush dolls. Well done they have a tag in the skirt that I want to remove. They'll probably buy personalized sewn labels and sew them into a skirt. Buy better.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • A little trifle

You get what you pay for

I'm so sad. When I took the elf out of the packaging for the first time, I was thrilled. In my opinion he is even cuter than the elf on the shelf. Definitely easier to pose. But I am very disappointed in the poor quality. Grabbed the little boy's head to move him (he was only delivered 4 hours ago) and decapitated him! I'm not the Hulk, but this thing is incredibly fragile. ALSO, I just noticed that my elf doesn't look like the one in the photo!

Arrived broken: Stuffed Animals & Plush Toys

The doll itself is cute, but arrived broken. It had a large hole in it as soon as I took it out of the box and one of the wires in its arm was severed so one arm was bent and the other was dangling. Through the big hole I can see that the wire was only glued to the inside of the arm and wasn't strong initially so it broke. Not to mention that the spots on the doll are (of course) glued and not sewn. I like that it can be bent which means it can be placed, but what's the use if the wire breaks?

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

So versatile! Jimmy adds a LOT of fun to our elf-on-the-shelf excitement.

So charming and different from the usual elf on the shelf, difficult to pose. This little guy's arms and legs have a wire core that allows him to do various poses. The wire only goes to the wrist and not to the hands, but it can still hold objects. I use straight pins to keep his head back or his arms UP depending on the pose. I enjoy it! Note: 2 images were not rotated when I uploaded them. It's not clear why they are now. Excuse me. :-(

  • Free for educational purposes

Must buy! So pretty! good for plush

ok seriously i wanted to get away with never buying an elf on the shelf esp the most popular most used looks creepy and i would never buy a little ugly elf for 30+ dollars. But when I saw this one and for the price and the good reviews it was a no brainer. Just received today, and seriously, it's so cute! Cuter than the photo and his arms and legs are bendable (because you can position them however you want and they will stay). Much better than the popular elf on the shelf who only wears a red…

Day One: Mom is already performing surgeries to save her.

I bought these as an alternative to the standard Elf for kids. They're way cuter and less scary! Ours arrived from the North Pole this morning and one had both of his eyes fall off (connected by a single thread) and fell off the table and the other had a wire snapped from his side after my daughter hugged him. It wasn't excessive strength, just poor workmanship (the elf boy's belt is also quite wobbly and sewn on incorrectly). Now I have two crazy kids, Santa will hate them for hurting his…

Cute flexible elf on plush figures

This little fella (probably not a girl but who knows) is adorable and perfect for the role of an elf on the shelf. Last year we somehow lost our first elf, Chrysopher. Yes, we are the worst parents in the world. We looked everywhere but he was gone. Contingency plan: Santa Claus sends a new elf. Our 6 year old decided Christopher had retired. phew crisis averted. The new Elf is slightly smaller and softer than its predecessor. It is very flexible so it can easily be hung from a chandelier or…

Spike D Nogg on plush

Spike D Nogg became a part of our family after he was kicked out of Shelf Elf Academy for trying to throw a party and adding eggnog. He's not a typical holiday elf. First, he's adorable and less scary-looking than his EoTS classmates. He also strongly disagrees with the position of the EoTS Academy regarding the assessment of household behavior. Given the nocturnal shenanigans of cottages, the elves arrange every night. Can they really tell Big Jolly Guy which houses are evil and which are good
