Update October 2020 I really liked the liner despite the 'flaws' listed below. At this point I was considering buying a 2nd. However, it has been working intermittently for the past week. Today it won't start at all, no spark. I went to the Zippos website for support and lo and behold I have about 2 weeks after the 1 year warranty expired. Essentially, this insert is a one-time use and is not serviceable like a normal insert. Looks like I'll go back to the original and refill every week instead
