    12v fluorescent lamp upgrade

I used this lamp in a two lamp fixture; one failed after a few weeks of warranty? I even secured the lamps with zip ties to keep them from vibrating; Now one of the lamps is very weak, the other works perfectly! Update 21 Feb 2013 Received 2 lamps and an apology letter and the company has to revise the lab life tests to use vibration. Lamp in determining lamp life. The lamps used to be in stationary cartridges in the laboratory.

The bulbs are bright but 3 broke

The headlights are very bright and I have had no problems with them. However, I ordered 10 of these and found that one of them was broken. I informed Revain and they quickly replaced him. But then when I started installing bulbs I noticed 2 more were broken. So 3 out of 10 were broken. I didn't try to replace the other two bulbs because some time had passed and I didn't think it was worth it.

    It's so bright! for lighting

15W is so bright! We often lose energy. I have a few sealed lead acid batteries left over from the project. So I bought 2 of these 12V CFL bulbs. They screw into a regular household light fixture (but never into an existing light fixture, which of course is rated for 120VAC). So I used a cheap string basement light connected to a 12v 10 amp battery. When the power went out - Hurricane Irene, the clicking - and there was so much light we didn't have to use candles or flashlights. It stayed light

    Excellent buy

I bought two of these bulbs to make two 12v light poles for my RV body when I go camping/hunting. I fitted the standard fittings to the end of 5 foot 3/4" EMT conduit and heat shrink sealed them with a perspex light shield to protect the bulbs and a removable cover to access the bulbs for future replacement. The cables come with 1/4" phono stages with built in on/off toggle switches hooked up to either side of my RV. I use 1/2" rebar cut to 24" for the stakes and sharpened to withstand the…

    Super 12 volt light source!

If you've ever camped at night with LED lights or flashlights as your only light source, you'll be more than pleasantly surprised at the light quality from this Camco CFL bulb! You can actually read a book without eye strain in your tent or cabin as if you were reading at home. My cabin is off the grid, deep in the woods, and I couldn't believe the amount of light my Camco bulb put out when I first tried it and reached full brilliance after about 20-30 seconds of warm-up. Even my nearest…
