Great product but do the color test!

My beautiful new dress was accidentally washed with a red sweatshirt. I washed the dress with Shout, but there were traces of pink in some of the white areas. I then used the Carbona Color Run Remover, but initially failed the color fastness test. Big mistake! The product will remove any dye that does not fully adhere to the fabric. Apparently all of the blue dyes in my dress didn't stick and the product removed all of the blue. No more pink, but no more blue. It can still be worn, but not as…

This stuff WORKS good for stain removers

I was devastated the first time a purple 'dye safe' item spilled on my pastel t-shirts and nightgowns in the first wash. I stumbled across this article and thought "what the heck, the articles are already mixed up" so I gave it a try. AMAZING RESULTS! The shirts and nightgown looked new EXCEPT for all the BLUE. Works if you're careful

This works for certain things when you know the fabric won't fall off or fade. My success rate with this was 50/50. I could remove denim (and leather?) stains from off-white sweatpants and a cheap pink towel and they looked brand new. At the same time, I also completely ruined and completely discolored an expensive towel and new light gray pants.
